A New Orleans native, Danielle joined M.S. Rau in May 2013 and brings a rare combination of design training, connoisseurship and global perspective to her clients. A degreed interior designer and former San Francisco art consultant, she draws on years of experience to help collectors make thoughtful, confident decisions.
Danielle is known for her intuitive sense of space and proportion, as well as her ability to understand how a work of art, a piece of furniture or an important jewel will live inside a client’s home and life. She approaches every acquisition as part of a larger story, considering beauty, provenance and long-term value while creating an enjoyable and personal experience.
A collector herself, Danielle has a personal passion for vintage signed jewelry, loose colored gemstones and Post-Impressionist paintings. She enjoys fine dining, bike riding along the levee, traveling the world to explore music and culture and spending her summers in Greece, where she has visited for more than twenty-five years. After many years away, she returned to her hometown of New Orleans to become part of the M.S. Rau team and continues to build lasting relationships with collectors around the world.
